I never thought I would see anything I ever wrote in this journal. I appreciate the invite, even if it is “just” the news section. I discuss the importance of studying populism comparatively with truly comparable measurement tools.
Correlation, regression. Back to Belgrade at CEP
In the hot of the summer, this group just want to learn new things. Impressive bunch at the European Policy Centre in Belgrade. Once we are done with this session, correlation, regression will be second nature on top of all the qualitative analysis skills and experiences they already have.

Quantitative Methods for Qualitative Policy Analysts at CEP in Belgrade
Working with the good people at the European Policy Centre in Belgrade. One cannot wish for a more awesome group of analysts. They invited me (thanks Milena Lazarevic) to work on the team’s quantitative policy analysis skills and I could not be more impressed with the group.
Joining the Presidium of the Hungarian Political Science Association
I am honored to be elected by the membership of the Hungarian Political Science Association and especially thankful to Zsolt Enyedi for the nomination. I have not been a contributing part of Hungarian political science so I greatly appreciate the trust of my Hungarian colleagues especially in my absence. I will work hard not to let them down. I also would like to congratulate president Kriszta Arato for her election. Excellent choice. Looking forward to working together.

Received CEU Distinguished Teaching Award
I cannot thank all the students who nominated me enough. I can only hope to live up to what it means because at this point I am far from deserving it. Thank you. https://www.ceu.edu/article/2015-09-22/tajti-and-littvay-receive-ceu-distinguished-teaching-award
Joining ECPR Methods School as Academic Convenor
I am honored to be selected as the new Academic Convenor of the ECPR Methods Schools. With Bernhard Kittel leaving I have very big shoes to fill but I can pledge that I will not stop short of making this not only the best methods school it already is but also the best place for quantitative methods (which it is not… yet). I am also super happy to have CEU host the summer school from next year on.
